Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Kilimanjaro Airport to Karatu

Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Transfer to Karatu where you will meet your guide for a short welcome briefing before being driven to your hotel.

Overnight at Flamingo Lodge

Day 2: Karatu to Serengeti National Park

Early morning drive to Serengeti (325km, 5-6 hour drive) with game viewing en-route. Descend into the heart of wild Africa with its endless plains.

Highlights: Seronera area - one of the richest wildlife habitats featuring the Seronera River which attracts diverse wildlife species.
Dinner and overnight at Seronera Sound of Silence Tented Camp

Day 3: Serengeti National Park Full Day

Full day game drive in the park with lunch at the lodge.

Wildlife: Lion, leopard, elephants, cheetah, buffalo, wildebeest migration, eland, wild dog, gazelle, crocodiles and abundant birdlife.
Dinner and overnight at Sound of Silence Tented Camp

Day 4: Serengeti to Ngorongoro to Zanzibar

Early morning drive to Ngorongoro Conservation Area to explore the famous crater.

Crater Highlights: Home to about 30,000 animals including Tanzania's last remaining black rhino, herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, and predators like lions, hyenas, and leopards.

Afternoon drive back to Arusha for flight to Zanzibar (arrival 21:50).

Day 5: Zanzibar Safari Blue Full Day

The best boat excursion in Zanzibar departing from the fishing village of Fumba.

Includes: Visit to sandbank, Kwale Island and coral reef of Menai Bay conservation area, top-quality snorkeling, ice cold drinks, delicious seafood lunch with grilled fish and slipper lobster, fruit tasting, and sailing in traditional outrigger canoe.
Overnight at Zanzibar Beach Resort

Day 6: Stone Town Tour, Prison Island & Nakupenda SandBank

Explore the cultural heart of Zanzibar, a UNESCO World Heritage site.

Highlights: Main city market (since 1904), unique architecture with Arab/Indian carved doors, former palaces and Arab mansions (Sultan Palace Museum, House of Wonder), the Old Fort, and Anglican Cathedral built on former slave market site.
Overnight at Zanzibar Beach Resort

Day 7: Departure

Check out from the hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
